Peach Tart (Seftalili Tart)

This recipe is from my dear sister.
3 eggs
½ cup+1 Tbsp sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
¼ cup canola oil
50-60 gr margarine/butter, softened
3 peaches, peeled and sliced

Sprinkle 1 Tbsp sugar over the peach slices and leave aside.
Take remaining sugar and eggs in a bowl. Mix them well and add margarine/butter. After mixing them all, start adding flour slowly. Stir in baking powder and vanilla. Knead until the dough gets soft as the cookie dough.
Grease a large Pyrex or tart tray and arrange the dough over evenly (make sure to make ~1/3 inch thick).
Arrange the peach slices on top. Bake at 400 F (200 C) preheated oven until the top gets lightly brown (for about 30-45 minutes).
Let it cool, slice and serve.

Sevgili kardesime bu guzel tarifi paylastigi icin cok tesekkur ediyorum.

3 yumurta
½ su bardagi + 1 yemek kasigi seker
2 su bardagi un
1 tatli kasigi vanilya
1 tatli kasigi kabartma tozu
¼ su bardagi kanola yagi
50-60 gr margarin/tereyag, oda sicakliginda
3 seftali, soyulmus ve dilimlenmis

Seftali dilimlerinin uzerine bir yemek kasigi sekeri serpin ve bir kenarda bekletin.
Seker ve yumurtayi bir kaba alin guzelce karistirin. Margarin/tereyag ve kanola yagini ilave ederek karistirmaya devam edin. Yavas yavas unu dokmeye baslayin ve yogurun. Vanilya ve kabartma tozunu ekleyin. Unu yavas yavas yedirerek yumusak bir hamur elde edene kadar yogurun.
Yagladiginiz buyuk boy borcam ya da tart tepsisine hamuru esit olarak yayin (1 cm’den ince olmali). Uzerine seftali dilimlerini istediginiz sekilde dizin.
200 C (400 F) firinda tart pisip seftaliler kizarana dek pisirin (30-45 dakika).
Sogumasini bekleyin. Dilimleyerek servis yapin.

Banana Nut Muffin (Muzlu Cevizli Kek)

3-4 ripe bananas, mashed
½-1 cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup butter, melted
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup chopped pecan/walnut
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar with a mixer. Then, add melted butter, bananas and the rest of the ingredients but the nuts. Once they are all mixed well, stir in the nuts.
Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners. Pour the mixture into cups, filling 2/3. Bake, at preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 15-20 minutes or till they turn light brown. Let them cool.

Yumurta ve sekeri mikser yardimiyla cirpin. Ceviz haric digger malzemeleri ilave edin. Hepsi guzelce karistiktan sonra ceviz/pekan cevizini ilave edin ve karistirin.
12 tane kucuk kek kalibini yaglayin veya kagit kek kalibi kullanin. Kek karisimini dokerek kaplarin 2/3 unu doldurun. Onceden isitilmis 180 C (350 F) firinda yaklasik 15-20 dakika kadar pisirin. Firindan cikarin ve sogumaya birakin.

Spinach Cake (Ispanakli Kek)

2 eggs
1 ½ cup sugar
2 cups flour
½ cup canola oil
½ or 1 cup spinach, pureed
1 package/1 tsp baking powder
1 package/1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
250-300 gr whipped cream

Puree spinach in a food processor and put aside. In a wide bowl, mix sugar and eggs with a mixer till it gets foamy. Add lemon juice, canola oil and spinach. Then, add baking powder, vanilla and flour. Mix for 3-4 minutes till obtaining a smooth mixture. Then pour it into greased Pyrex (~3L).
Bake in a preheated 375 F (190C) oven for about 30-40 minutes. Check if it’s done inserting a toothpick into the cake. It is done, if it comes out clean.
Let it cool down and then take out of the Pyrex. Cut off the sides off about ½ inch wide and powder them in the food processor. Set aside. Place the cake over a serving plate; spread whipped cream on top evenly. Then, sift the powdered cake on top of the cream. Slice it up and serve.

Uzeri icin 250-300 gr krem santi

Ispanagi mutfak robotu ya da rondoda pure haline getirin ve bir kenara ayirin. Genis bir kapta; seker ve yumurtayi mikser ile cirparak beyaz kopuk haline getirin. Limon suyu, sivi yag ve ispanagi ilave edin. Karistirmaya devam edin. Son olarak kabartma tozu, vanilya ve unu ekleyin. Yaklasik 3-4 dakika boyunca cirpin. Yaglanmis olan borcam (3L) ya da firin tepsisine dokun.
Onceden isitilmis 190C (375 F) firinda yaklasik 30-40 dakika pisirin. Kontrol etmek icin bir kurdani kekik icine batirin. Eger kurdan temiz cikarsa kekiniz pismistir.
Keki bir kenarda sogumaya birakin. Sonra Tepsiden cikarin ve kenarlarindan 1-1½ cm kalinliginda parcalar kesin. Bu parcalari mutfak robotu/rondoda mumkun oldugu kadar kucultup pudra haline getirin. Keki servis tabagina alin ve uzerine krem sartiyi esit sekilde surun. Ustune pudra haline getirdiginiz kek parcaciklarini bir suzgec/elek yardimiyla serpistirin.
Istediginiz sekilde dilimleyin ve servis yapin.

Tahini Cake with Sesame Coating (Susam Mantolu Tahinli Kek)

3 eggs
1 ½ cup sugar
1 cup canola oil
½ cup tahini
½ cup cold milk
1 tsp/1 package baking powder
2 cups flour

For the coating:
1 tsp soft margarine
½ cup sesame
2 tbsp walnut pieces

In a large bowl, mix the eggs and sugar with a mixer till it gets foamy (for about 5 minutes). Add canola oil and cold milk. Stir with a wooden spoon. Then, stir in flour and baking powder. Finally add tahini and stir well to dissolve all ingredients.
Meanwhile, apply soft margarine all over the cake pan with a brush or your fingers. Pour the sesame inside and try to coat inside the cake pan evenly (see the picture). And then, pour the cake mixture inside and sprinkle with walnuts on top.
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and bake for about 40-50 minutes till the cake turns golden brown.

Mantosu icin:
1 tatli kasigi yumusak margarin
½ su bardagi susam
2 yemek kasigi kirilmis ceviz

Genis bir kap icinde toz sekeri ve yumurtayi mikser ile yaklasik 5 dakika cirpin. Kopurup seker iyice eriyince, sivi yag ve soguk sutu ilave edin. Tahta kasikla karistirin. Uzerine un ve kabartma tozunu yavas yavas ilave edin ve kasikla karistirmaya devam edin. Son olarak tahini ilave edin ve guzelce karistirin.
Diger tarafta, oda sicakligindaki margarini kek kalibinin her tarafina firca ile ya da parmaklarinizla surun. Uzerine kavrulmamis susamlari dokun ve kalibi cevirerek her yerinin susamlanmasina ozen gosterin (resime bakiniz). Hazirladiginiz kek harcini kaliba dokun ve uzerine iri kirilmis cevizleri serpin.
Onceden isitilmis 180 C (350 F) firinda uzeri kizarana dek pisirin (yaklasik 40-50 dakika).

Brownie

~200 gr (8 ounce) unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
4-5 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla/1 pckg vanilla
1-1/2 cups flour
2 tbsp cocoa
1 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted

Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C). Grease a 9 x 13 inch Pyrex/pan.
Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat; set aside. With a mixer, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla at high speed for 8-10 minutes. Blend in chocolate mixture, flour, cocoa and salt until just mixed. Stir in the nuts. Pour into prepared Pyrex/pan.
Bake for 35-40 minutes (Do not over bake). Cool and frost if desired, but that is not necessary.

1 su bardagi tereyagi
4-5 yumurta
3 su bardagi seker
1 ½ su bardagi un
2 yemek kasigi kakao
1 tatli kasigi tuz
1 yemek kasigi vanilya ekstrakti/1 paket toz vanilya
1- ½ su bardagi ufalanmis ceviz/pekan cevizi, hafif kavrulmus

Firini 190 C (375 F) dereceye isitin ve 23x32 cm lik borcam/firin tepsisini yaglayin.
Cikolata ve tereyagini bir tavada kisik ateste eritin ve kenara ayirin. Mikser ile yumurta, seker ve vanilyayi yuksek devirde 8-10 dakika boyunca karistirin. Sonra, cikolata karisimini, un, kakao ve tuzu ilave edin ve karistirin. Ceviz/pekan cevizi ilave edin. Yaglanmis tepsiye dokun.
35-40 dakika boyunca pisirin (fazla pisirmemeye dikkat edin). Sogutun ve isterseniz uzerine krema surun, fakat buna gerek kalmayacaktir.

Potato Cake (Patatesli Kek)

2 eggs
1 cup yogurt
3 potatoes, finely diced
8 tbsp (125 gr) butter/margarine, melted
2 cups flour
1/3 cup dill/parsley, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp black pepper
1/3 tbsp paprika
1 tsp sesame seeds for top

In a bowl beat the eggs with a mixer for 2-3 minutes. Then add yogurt, butter/margarine, salt and spices. Combine baking powder and flour, then add them to the mixture. Mix them all evenly. Stir in parsley/dill and potatoes with a wooden spoon.
Transfer the cake mixture in a greased rectangular or square Pyrex dish and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Preheat the oven to 350 F(180 C) and bake for 40-50 minutes, till it turns golden brown.
Potato Cake is good to go at breakfasts and brunches.

8 yemek kasigi (125 gr) tereyag/margarin, erimis
1/3 cup dereotu/maydanoz, ince dogranmis
1 tatli kasigi tuz
1 cay kasigi karabiber
½ cay kasigi toz/pul kirmizi biber
1 paket/ 1tatli kasigi kabartma tozu
1 tatli kasigi susam

Yumurtalari bir kasede mikser ile 2-3 dakika cirpin. Sonra terayagi/margarine, yogurt, tuz ve baharatlari ilave edin. Un ve kabartma tozunu harmanlayip karisima yavas yavas ekleyin.
Maydanoz/dereotu ve patatesleri de ilave edip, tahta kasikla karistirin. Yaglanmis bir dikdortgen ya da kare borcam tepsiye dokun ve uzerine susam serpin.
180 C (350F) isitilmis firinda yaklasik 40-50 dakika pisirin.
Patatesli kek ozellikle kahvalti ve cay saatleri icin cok guzel bir tariftir.

Carrot Cake (Havuclu Kek)

3 eggs
1 ½ cup sugar
1 cup oil/7 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
1 cup carrot, shredded
1 cup walnut/pecan, crushed
2 cups flour
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp orange/lemon zest
1 tsp baking powder

Beat eggs and sugar with a mixer till it becomes foamy (3 mins). Add oil/margarine and mix for a while. Then mix in shredded carrots, lemon/orange zest and crushed walnuts/pecans. Finally add flour, cinnamon and baking powder and mix for 3-4 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and grease the cake pan and pour the cake mixture in.
Bake the Carrot Cake until it becomes golden brown, for 40-50 minutes. To check whether the cake is ready, insert a toothpick in the center and pull it out, if it comes out clean, your cake is done.

P.S: To remove the cake form the pan easily, cover its bottom with a wet cloth and allow to cool 10 to 15 minutes before removing.

Yumurta ve sekeri mikser ile kopuk haline gelene kadar cirpin (3 dakika). Sivi yagi ilave edip biraz daha karistirin. Sonra havuc, ceviz ve limon/portakal kabugunu ilave edin. Biraz daha karistirip, un, tarcin ve kabartma tozunu ekleyip 3-4 dakika daha karistirin.
Kek karisimini, yagladiginiz kek kalibina dokun ve onceden isitilmis 180 C (350 F) firinda uzeri kizarana dek yaklasik 40-50 dakika pisirin.
Bir kurdani kekin ortasina batirarak pisip pismedigini kontrol edebilirsiniz. Eger kurdan temiz cikarsa kekiniz hazir demektir.

NOT: Keki kalibindan kolayca cikarmak icin, firindan cikarinca kek kalibinin dibini islak bir bez ile sarin ve 10-15 dakika sogumasini bekleyin. Kekin kaliptan kolayca ciktigini goreceksiniz.

Wet Cake (Islak Kek)

3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil/8 tbsp butter (130gr)
1½ cup milk
4 tbsp cocoa
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract /1 package vanilla
Coconut flakes or crushed nuts for garnish

In a large bowl, beat eggs and sugar, till they become foamy. Then beat in oil or melted margarine, cocoa, milk and vanilla.
Then put aside 1 cup from this mixture to use it later. Mix in flour and baking powder to the remaining mixture.
Preheat the oven to 350F (180 C).Grease the baking tray and pour the cake mixture evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes. To check whether the cake is ready, insert a toothpick in the center and pull it out, if it comes out clean, your cake is ready.
Slice the cake and pour the mixture (you put aside before) evenly. Let it cool and garnish with coconut flakes or crushed nuts before serving.

Suslemek icin hindistan cevizi ya da kiriklanmis ceviz/findik/badem

Genis bir kasede yumurta ve sekeri kopuk olusana dek mikser ile cirpin. Sonra sivi yag ya da erimis margarine, sut, kakao ve vanilyayi ilave edip karistirin.
Bu karisimdan 1 su bardagi alip, daha sonra kekin uzerine dokmek icin ayirin. Kalan karisima un ve kabartma tozunu ilave edin ve guzelce karistirin. Yaglamis oldugunuz firin tepsisine dokun ve onceden isitilmis 180 C (350 F) firinda 25-30 dakika kadar pisirin.Kekin orta kismina kurdan batirarak, pisip pismedigini kontrol edebilirsiniz. Eger kurdan temiz olarak cikarsa kekiniz pismistir.
Firindan cikardiginiz keki dilimleyin ve uzerine onceden ayirmis oldugunuz karisimi esit olarak dokun. Soguduktan sonra uzerini hindistan cevizi ya da ceviz/findik/badem ile susleyerek servis yapabilirsiniz.

Cake with Raisins (Kuru Uzumlu Kek)


4-5 eggs
200 gr (1/2 lb) butter or margarine, melted
1 ½ cup sugar
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup raisins
1/3 cup chocolate chips

In a large bowl, place the eggs, butter/ margarine and sugar. Beat with a mixer till it becomes foamy. Then, add flour and baking soda. Beat for additional 5 minutes first in low, then medium speed. Add the raisins and chocolate chips and mix them all.Grease the cake pan and pour the cake mixture in. Preheat the oven to 380 F (190 C) and bake for about 25 minutes until your cake turns to golden brown. To check whether the cake is ready, insert a toothpick in the center and pull it out, if it comes out clean, your cake is done. To remove the cake form the pan, allow to cool 10 to 15 minutes before removing.

½ su bardagi kuru uzum
1/3 su bardagi cikolata parcacigi

Buyuk bir kasede once seker, yag ve yumurtalari kopuk haline gelene dek cirpin. Sonra un ve kabartma tozunu ilave edip, once dusuk devirde, sonra yuksek devirde 5 dakika kadar mikser ile cirpin. Kuru uzum ve cikolata parcalarini ilave edip karistirin.
Kek kalibinizi yaglayin ve kek kairisimini kaliba dokun. Onceden isittiginiz 190 C (380 F) firinda, yaklasik 25 dakika, kekik uzeri kizarana dek pisirin. Bir kurdani kekin ortasina batirarak pisip pismedigini kontrol edebilirsiniz. Eger kurdan temiz cikarsa kekiniz hazir demektir. Keki kalibindan cikarmadan once 10-15 dakika sogumasini bekleyin.
