Merhabaö
Blogunuz cok guzel !!
Kolay gelsin,
Helin Burkay

merhabalar blogunuzla yeni tanıştım sanırım bundaN SONRA daha sık takip edeceğim. usa 1 hafta önce eşimle geldik orlandodayız. ve geri dönmeyi bile düşünüyoruz:( buraDaki herşey bize çok yabancı ve kötü geliyor.marketler, evler, mağazalar, restaurantlardaki koku çok rahatsız edici. siz benden daha fazla usa de yaşayan biri olarak nelerin bizim damak tadımıza uygun olduğunu belirlemişsnizdir.sizden ricam bunları benimle paylaşırmısınız? mesela sıvı yağ da, sütde,yoğurtta,peynirde,salçada,pirinçte,bulgurda..hangi markaları tercih ediyorsunuz?umarım komik olmamıştır:) sevgilerle

Merhaba,
Umarim yardimci olabilmisimdir.
SEVGILER

A wonderful site. I look forward to recommending your website to everyone I know.

I believe my mum is the most creative and skilled Turkish cooks in the world. I can see and read that you are one of the best, creative and most knowledge cooks of Turkish Cuisine in the world. So much wonderful information.

I can go on and on but I will save these endless paragraphs for another time.

A quick question, is there a receipe for Karadeniz Karalahana corbasi on your website. This is my heritage.

I feel so blessed to have access to all of your recipes.

If you had a cookbook, which incorporated all of the information on this site, I would purchase it.

God bless and eline saglik.

Hi there Hayriye.

I found your website in about October 2009 and used some of your recipes to remind me how to cook some dishes. Thanks a lot.

Over the Xmas period, I visited Turkey for the first time and absolutely loved it. Great landscapes and food and history and the people were lovely. Now I'm going to start using your recipes to specifically make Turkish food, starting with some of the vegetarian ones. Can't wait till I've removed a few 'holiday food' kilos around the waist so that I can make Borek :-)

Cheers.

Merhaba
Cok tesekkurler
:)

turkishfoodandrecipes said...

Daisies,
Deniz urunleri haric sitemdeki her turlu yemegi haftasonu yapip, hafta ici tuketebilirsiniz.
Umarim yardimci olur.
Sevgiler,
Hayriye

Hi, i'm after some advice, after failing to cook anything decent for my Turkish boyfriend i thought i'd try something from your website. I'm thinking of giving the wedding stew a go but wouldn;t know what to serve alongside it. Could you please advise.

Many thanks

turkishfoodandrecipes said...

Hi kellynrobbie,
You can try any kind of pilaf with wedding stew
http://www.turkishfoodandrecipes.com/2008/11/pasat-pilaf-makarna-pilavlar.html
Then also any kind of salad will go well.
Good luck and please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Hello Hayriye,

First of all I will confess that I am not fond of cooking, that said I must let you know how much you have inspired me to cook, I absolutely love your recipes. They are simple to follow and easy to make and so healthy, colourful and absolutely delicious. From hating cooking I have gone to loving to cook and looking forward to what I am going to make in the entire week.
I live in Kuwait and over the week-end in take my husband to the central vegetable market here to make sure that i will have all the vegetables and herbs I will need through the week. I have so far only tried about ten or twelve recipes but look forward to making many more. My guests looks forward to it too.
Just five minutes back I was having the most delicious and nutritious Minestrone. Totally yummy. Thank you very much :)

Hello, I picked up a soup spice mixture at the spice market in Istanbul. It looks like it has some dehydrated veggies and other herbs in it. Any idea what I might be able to do with it? I thought perhaps that this is something Turkish people use in a traditional dish. Or maybe it's just something tourists buy?? Seems like a similar concoction was sold by many vendors at the market...

Thanks!
Kristi

turkishfoodandrecipes said...

Kristi,

You may use that spice mixture in meatloaf, meat dishes and try in vegetable stocks.
Hope that helps.

I was wondering if your recipes are all for the same number of servings. I noticed that the individual recipes don't have serving amounts listed. I hope this isn't a stupid question. Maybe the answer is obvious and I missed it. Please let me know. Thank you and thank you for the site. It's wonderful!

turkishfoodandrecipes said...

Most of my recipes are 6-8 servings, depending on the recipe.

Hope that helps,

Hayriye
