Kolay gelsin, Helin Burkay
A wonderful site. I look forward to recommending your website to everyone I know.
I believe my mum is the most creative and skilled Turkish cooks in the world. I can see and read that you are one of the best, creative and most knowledge cooks of Turkish Cuisine in the world. So much wonderful information.
I can go on and on but I will save these endless paragraphs for another time.
A quick question, is there a receipe for Karadeniz Karalahana corbasi on your website. This is my heritage.
I feel so blessed to have access to all of your recipes.
If you had a cookbook, which incorporated all of the information on this site, I would purchase it.
Merhaba Mehtap, I'm really glad to hear that you like my recipes. Thank you for your great comments. I haven't published a recipe for Karalahana Corbasi, but I'll do my best to publish it as soon as possible for you. Love, Hayriye
I found your website in about October 2009 and used some of your recipes to remind me how to cook some dishes. Thanks a lot.
Over the Xmas period, I visited Turkey for the first time and absolutely loved it. Great landscapes and food and history and the people were lovely. Now I'm going to start using your recipes to specifically make Turkish food, starting with some of the vegetarian ones. Can't wait till I've removed a few 'holiday food' kilos around the waist so that I can make Borek :-)
Daisies, Deniz urunleri haric sitemdeki her turlu yemegi haftasonu yapip, hafta ici tuketebilirsiniz. Umarim yardimci olur. Sevgiler, Hayriye

Hi kellynrobbie, You can try any kind of pilaf with wedding stew http://www.turkishfoodandrecipes.com/2008/11/pasat-pilaf-makarna-pilavlar.html Then also any kind of salad will go well. Good luck and please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Hello, I picked up a soup spice mixture at the spice market in Istanbul. It looks like it has some dehydrated veggies and other herbs in it. Any idea what I might be able to do with it? Kristi,
You may use that spice mixture in meatloaf, meat dishes and try in vegetable stocks.
Hope that helps.
